Some notes from the show:
Steven Colbert mentioned that the reruns of the show would only be a half hour long and to Google ‘Thom Yorke, Lion Attack’ to see the other half of the show.
When asked if the band made more money now by being and independent band and Ed said “That they can sell less records and make more money”
Colbert asked the band “Do you guys have any Grammys?” Thom Yorke answered: “…I dunno, do we?”
Colbert: “Who’s saving the world better, you or Bono”? Thom Yorke – “Definitely Bono.”

It looks like they have set up a website for the bonus footage: http://www.thomyorkelionattack.com/ (it appears to be down right now)
The band will play 2 live shows at Roseland Ballroom in New York City on September 28th and 29th.

Have to say when I first say the set I was kinda mad, needless to say I am no long mad. :)
awesome!
i’m pretty sure that the lionattack site will not come back up, as it says it has been taken down due to copyright issues? i dunno…
fyi, that link is not an hd version.
Damn! The HD version of the show was taken down. Any other DL links for it? Or the songs?
Awesome job as always Josh!
Oops. Take that back, they’re still up there. Just didn’t go to the page at first, I think I got redirected to an ad that gave me a 404 (didn’t exist). Tried a few more times and eventually got the page with the download on it, download still works.
Sorry! Still a great job Josh =).
much better performance than SNL ha.
Please, do you you know where I can find a lower quality version of the show? My computer won’t play HD videos :(
Love the new arrangements.
What I don’t understand is why are they doing Colbert and SNL now? If it’s for tkol why didn’t they do it in like March?
Best performance of Bloom yet, though the mix wasn’t that good IMO..
Little by Little – Wow.. Seems so much more tight now!
Just finished watching the download of the show.. awesome performances (haven’t seen codex or m mr. mp yet), but I wish the band made stronger points or elaborated more during the interviews.. They sure looked nervous, shy, and/or withheld, i suppose. Thank you Josh
… and let me add uncomfortable (is it something about being on american television?). and they should fire their hairdresser.
Thanks for putting it up for download! Watching it right now.. American TV is crazy!
What’s this about the Lion Attack thing?
Bloom is always amazing.
The lion attack thing is so funny. Can’t believe the weird dance Thom did in it.
great post as always.
On top of shit as usual… keep up the great work.
The Daily Mail was “fairly nailed” and Bloom was ethereal!!! …Can’t wait to see the rest of em!
Does anyone have more commentary that I should add from the show?
Maybe the part, in the beginning, when Colbert mentioned that Dr. Pepper WASN’T the official blah blah of Radiohead. They seemed upset about it… I don’t know… maybe it’s irrelevant… but I found it interesting.
The link about lion attack isn’t working… I’m not sure to understand. Anyway… it’s time for me to get to bed. Good job as usual Josh… hoping that tomorrow there will be a couple of videos with the 2 songs on the web and the complete National Anthem.
Thanks again! Cheers
Thanks! I think the site is just down right now. It should be up soon.
