New Dead Air Space Post: Children’s Radio Foundation
There was a new post on Radiohead’s Official Website Dead Air Space today from Colin Greenwood:
“Radio is everywhere in the country, and it’s a great way to talk to a lot of people from all different situations. It was really great to do an interview. When you get to interview someone, you’re learning from them. And you’re also sharing with it many people on the radio, so we’re all learning.” – Ceswa Mpandamabula, 15, Lusaka
The Children’s Radio Foundation is a UNICEF backed project across Africa that I’ve recently become involved in. It’s very interesting and inspiring to me, because it incorporates some of my passions; new and old media, radio and the internet, and how these technologies can be used to give a continent of young people a voice. There’s more info on their site, and their soundcloud too. Check it out!

Thanks! Just added it.
The new Radiohead record is fucking bollocks! A song about a fucking tree?? Try writing a song about a wall, it’s much harder and way more fucking modern. All you Radiohead fans spend too much fucking time obsessing over this shitty electronica music instead of going to Beady Eye shows for some real fucking rock.
That was brilliant.
Speaking of Beady Eye, I actually don’t really like them anymore :/
And not because Liam said something bad about Radiohead. He is entitled his own opinion, as well as anyone else.
I thought their album was pretty good. I was a big Oasis fan through the years. I think their album was really overshadowed by The King Of Limbs being announced and released during the same week they released their album. Have you heard Noel’s album yet?
I have, I like that one a lot more, though I do think he could’ve kept out a song or two.
I used to be really into Beady Eye, but currently I find them a bit boring.
Maybe I’m just not in the mood for their music atm ^^
I agree. i think when the album was first released it was really good, but yes I get a bit bored with it now. I look forward to seeing what they do next.
Leave Tom Yorke alone! He’s a miss understood genius! Now in more important news, I’m awesome.
I can’t believe you fucking retards actually think it’s members of the band.
Chill out, treefingers. This is a comment section, not a boxing match.
Everything in its right place yeah?
I think everyone knows its not really someone from the band. I doubt they would post something here, especially under their name, etc.
Is that really Phil commenting? If so then awesome! Though he did spell Thom Yorke Tom Yoke lol
Omg ur rite dominic!!!!! It can’t be him I think its someone who typed Phil into the name box.
I just wanted to confirm that it is actually Phil commenting. No one in the world lies about their name.
You’re right “Thom Yorke” would have posted instead, if it was the real thing :D
Just want to confirm to you all that Colin is fully behind the UNICEF mission. I spoke to Tom (Yoke) today on the mobile phone and in our conversation he maintained Colin’s strong involvement in the projait
Will keep you updated as soon as I learn more.
Thanks for the updates Phil.. :)
No problem Josh. Thanks for your efforts with the site. Tom (Yoke), as well as the rest of the band, really appreciate it. Tom told me so during several conversations in Walmart this year. His exact words were “I really appreciate the work being done at that King of Limbs Part 2 site”
If he mentions anything more on the subjait, then i’ll be sure to let you know straight away. All my love,
Thanks. Send my regards to everyone.
I want to confirm this. I did speak to Phil Selway.
“Tom (Yoke)”
