Atoms For Peace played their first show in the U.S. tonight after taking the last 2 months off.  The group performed in Philadelphia at the Liacouras Center.  James Holden opened.  Thom said on Twitter after the show: “Nice!!!  Thanks Philly..  After shaking & a of bit limbering up we all made it thru the hole in the wall …And a big thanks to @mrjamesholden!”

During the show Thom said “Hello my name is Jay-Z, and this is Beyoncé” as he pointed to Flea.  Later in the show he said “Maybe I’m Beyoncé and you’re Jay-Z”.  Atoms For Peace make their debut on television tomorrow night performing on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and will play in New York City at the Barclays Center on Friday.
