Radiohead released a total of 7 12” singles and a 2-disc album of remixes from their eight studio album The King Of Limbs.  Here is detailed information on each one.

TKOL RMX1

The first single, comprising remixes of “Little by Little” and “Lotus Flower” by Caribou and Jacques Greene respectively, was released on July 4, 2011.

The remix of “Little by Little” incorporates elements of Asian music, while the “Lotus Flower” remix progresses at one minute intervals.

TKOL RMX2

The second, comprising remixes of “Morning Mr Magpie” by Nathan Fake and two remixes of “Bloom” by Mark Pritchard (one under his own name with the other under his Harmonic 313 alias), was released on 15 July 2011.

Nathan Fake’s remix of “Morning Mr Magpie” takes a 2-step garage beat and mixes it with elements of IDM. Mark Pritchard’s remix of bloom under his alias Harmonic 313 is in a post-dubstep style, while the remix under his own name has a very claustrophobic feel to it.

TKOL RMX3

The third, comprising remixes of “Feral” by Lone, “Morning Mr Magpie” by Pearson Sound and “Separator” by Four Tet, was released on on 29 July 2011.

TKOL RMX4

The fourth, comprising remixes of “Give Up the Ghost” by Thriller, “Codex” by Illum Sphere and “Little By Little” by Shed, was released on August 15, 2011.

The remix of “Codex” by Illum Sphere was cut short by over 2 minutes, coming to a sudden stop, leaving listeners with the feeling that it was unfinished. However, the full version was later uploaded.

 TKOL RMX5

The fifth contains a remix of “Give Up the Ghost” by Brokenchord, a track created by Altrice containing elements from all songs from The King of Limbs, with the track being dubbed “TKOL (Altrice Remix)”, and a remix of “Bloom” by Blawan. It was released on August 26, 2011.

The sixth single will feature 2 remixes – a remix of “Morning Mr Magpie”, retitled “Good Evening Mrs Magpie”, by Modeselektor and a remix of “Bloom” by Objekt.  The single was released on September 12, 2011.

The seventh  single features “Bloom” remixed by Jamie xx, “Separator” by Anstam, and a remix of “Lotus Flower” by SBTRKT.   The Single was released on October 10, 2011.
