Thom Yorke Does Late Night DJ Set At Jane Ballroom
Hours after performing on Saturday Night Live, Radiohead’s Thom Yorke played a DJ set at Jane’s Ballroom in New York City.
While the Jane Ballroom may not have had a great Fashion Week, it did prove this weekend that it could still host a great night out. The Jane was the location for the weekly Saturday Night Live after party and Thom Yorke decided to wow the crowd with a late night DJ set. Yorke and Radiohead had been the musical guests on the season premiere of SNL and he decided to join DJ Franco V in the DJ booth sometime after 3 AM for a few hours. Besides their SNL appearance, Radiohead is also playing two shows in New York later this week, but it’s doubtful that there will be any more club nights. You snooze you lose.

While in New York City the band will also appear on and The Colbert Report (tonight) and will play 2 live shows at Roseland Ballroom in New York City on September 28th and 29th. Tickets go on sale on Monday morning at 10:00 am EST at Ticketmaster.

Reminder: Radiohead to perform on The Colbert Report tonight
Just a reminder that Radiohead will be performing tonight on the season premier of The Colbert Report. The show has been expanded to one hour and will include multiple performances from the band, as well as an interview. There will also be an exclusive performance of a song that will be aired online. The performance is set to include the unreleased song, “The Daily Mail”.
The show airs at 11:30 pm est on Comedy Central. The exclusive song played online can be found on Colbert Nation.
The band is currently in New York City and recently performed on the season premire Saturday Night Live. And they’re playing 2 live concerts in New York City at the Roseland Ballroom on the 28th and 29th.

Watch Radiohead’s perform on Saturday Night Live! Video
Earlier tonight Radiohead performed on the season premier of Saturday Night Live. The band played ‘Lotus Flower’ and ‘Staircase’ Watch the performance. Alec Baldwin was the shows host, and there were surprise appearances by Steve Martin and Seth Rogen. Clive Deamer of Portishead played drums along with Radiohead’s Phil Selway as he did during Glastonbury and their From the Basement performance.

UPDATE The band just performed ‘Lotus Flower’ and will play again in just a few minutes. I’m guessing they will play ‘Staircase’ next since they rehearsed the song.
