Chieftan Mews has returned
He sent out the following tweets on August 4th:
“#10: Please @ 1 song that makes you feel energetic & write about it in 1 sentence. (1 answer only, #10 expires August 11, 2011 at 00:00 GMT)”
“At 0:36 I appear in the Zigg only to disappear and reflect to the dark side of the moon. http://t.co/Qw0PTnn stuck help #10 of 10″
Maybe on August 11th we will be able to see “Supercollider” from their From The Basement performance?
This was a tweet he sent out on July 11th:
“@nigelgod that buck, took me out of the final cut so I took Supercollider & some juicy footage before being banished to the Zigg. Stuck.Help”
What song will you send him?

Listen to Modeselektor featuring Thom Yorke on “Shipwreck” and “This” (Preview)
Here is a preview for 2 new tracks on Modeselektor’s newest album featuring Thom Yorke. The name of the tracks are “Shipwreck” and “This”.
Modeselektor “Shipwreck” with Thom Yorke (MONKEYTOWN015) OUT SEP 30 by Modeselektor
Modeselektor “This” with Thom Yorke (MONKEYTOWN015) OUT SEP 30 by Modeselektor
And for those of you still following the speculation:
According to ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers), “Twist” (Work ID: 883165981) is the latest track in the works. It has yet to added to the list of Radiohead’s finished recordings, but it should be noted that the following titles have been:
“The Daily Mail” (Work ID: 881132452)
“I Froze Up” (Work ID: 881132455)
“Mouse Dog Bird” (Work ID: 881132456) [Note – this track is listed separately from “Separator”]
“Staircase” (Work ID: 883194047)
Out of 112 recorded songs on the list, only “Spooks” and the above four songs remain unreleased. Make of this what you will.

Edit – The evidence shows that “Twist” might be a finished Thom Yorke solo track (but the same list also says the same about Supercollider, so who knows?):

New Blog post from Stanley Donwood
Stanley Donwood posted the following on his blog yesterday:
“My apologies for the comparative lack of ‘up-dates’ on this thing. I’ve been very busy with Lost Angeles and various other things of medium to high-level secrecy. Above is a painting called Winterfold which is, I hope, available to be seen with actual eyes in the city of Los Angeles from tonight, here:
POST NO BILLS
Apparently there is a record of the painting leaving the UK but no corresponding record of it arriving in the USA. So it goes, as the late Kurt Vonnegut would say. But there are some new giclée prints there, for sure. Well, there must be something anyway because they’ve put my name on the flyer. So yes, 1103 Abbot Kinney Boulevard, Venice Beach, California. From tonight! I believe it’s very warm over there at the moment. ”

I wonder what this “Lost Angeles” project is that he has been working on, and “various other things of medium to high-level secrecy” might be…
Here is a new cover of “Morning Mr Magpie” from Warren of WarrenMusic:
He has also uploaded a guitar lesson for the song here.

Another Tweet from Sebastian Edge
About 10 minutes ago (6:40PM EST) Sebastian Edge sent out the following message on Twitter:
“Some things begin, others hold on. i’m putting it ALL back in.. #radiohead #tkol facebook.com/pages/North-Lo… “
Not sure what he might be referring to, though the message clearly relates to Radiohead. Let me know what you think in the comments section.
