Interesting Radiohead article from 2009
This story originally appeared on www.guardian.co.uk. It discusses the possibility that the band leaked their own song (These Are My Twisted Words) back in August of 2009. I wanted to share an interesting quote from long time Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich from the article:
“He says, like, OK, we book in for three days, and at the end of the three days we put two tracks up every week and we do it for six weeks. I mean, it’ll never happen, but that idea of, we put it out even if we don’t know what it is and then, oh dear, it’s out.”
This just adds more evidence to the idea of a “revolutionary release”. I also remember Thom Yorke saying in an interview that the way the music industry currently worked was broken, or something to that effect. I will find the interview, or if you can find please send it to me. Again you can read this full article here. Thanks to Matt for leaving this as a comment on the previous post.
Chieftan Mews latest Twiiter Profile Picture
Another thing we need to figure out are some of the things that Chieftan Mews has mentioned. Remember back on Tuesday he said”
“You cannot do. And you cannot observe. Be more alert! Grab your tar and feathers. The witch hunt is on. Catch me if you can.”
I think “Be more alert” means that we have missed something.
If you have read the last post you will see what was found in the artwork that came with “These Are My Twisted Words”. I think the next place we must look is in the 8 songs from “The King Of Limbs” Here is a message that Chieftan Mews sent out on February 15th:
“I’m hidden in your 8-Track”
That was the day after “The King Of Limbs” was announced on Radiohead’s site. I think if we could reverse the songs and listen to them backwards, I think we might be able to find something.
