Radiohead released Kid A 13 years ago today
Radiohead released their fourth studio album Kid A 13 years ago today. Kid A was released on October 2nd, 2000 to critical acclaim and debuted at #1 in the U.S., and is ranked as the #1 album of the decade by Pitchfork and Rolling Stone.
Kid A was recorded in Paris, Copenhagen, Gloucestershire and Oxford and produced by Nigel Godrich. The album saw Radiohead move in a new direction musically than their previous releases, in a more electronic style than the previous guitar or ‘rock’ style.
