Here are some notes I compiled from tonights show.  Keep checking back for more updates.

Thom Yorke appeared on on BBC Radio 1 with Gilles Peterson and revealed that Atoms For Peace have been working together in the studio. It sounds like they are putting the finishing touches on the album.

“So we ended up at the end of that just getting into the studio and generating some more beats based around some thing I had already.”  “Just finishing that with Nigel at the moment. It’s ongoing as well.”  Thom Yorke on upcoming work with Atoms For Peace

“It will be an album in the same since The Eraser was an album. ” Thom Yorke on Atoms For Peace album.

Thom Yorke to appear on BBC Radio 1 with Gilles Peterson tonight

Just a quick reminder that Thom Yorke will be on BBC Radio 1 with Gilles Peterson at 2:00am in the UK (9:00pm in EST for those of you in the US).  The program is 2 hours long.  You can listen to it here.  I will try to post the audio here after the show is over as well.

Update – From the BBC blog:

“Thom Yorke returns as Gilles’s special studio guest this week, and he brings with him an exclusive Jamie xx remix of Radiohead as well as the new remix album due for release next month!
The two go back to back for the whole show, and touch on everything from Berliners Modeselektor and Anstam’s dark beats, through to Footwork from DJ Slugo and some classic Bristol swag from Massive Attack. But not before dipping into classic US Jazz from Duke Ellington and Bossa Nova from Segio Garcia.
Radiohead fans and music lovers alike, this show is not to be missed!”
